Episode 100: Ben Caldwell

We are celebrating 100 episodes of the Creative Impact Podcast with special guest, Ben Caldwell!!! Ben and I (Rachel) share a bit of our story as a couple, and we chat about Ben’s journey in the arts. He gives us a glimpse into his time as a dancer and dance teacher, and he shares fun and moving stories from his international travels for dance ministry. We also talk about Ben’s transition out of full-time dancing, processing the losses that come with change, and rediscovering hope for the future.

About Ben:

Ben Caldwell is an attorney and recovering dancer. He enjoys novels, video games, camping, and punny jokes. His favorite pastime is avoiding social interaction. Ben is known for his wit, creativity, and memorable storytelling. His favorite drink is carrot juice, and he almost always has a song stuck in his head. He hates stains, sunburns easily, and never combs his hair. Some of Ben’s favorite places from his ministry travels include the hot river in New Zealand, the view from the summit of Mount Fuji, and walking through Hezekiah’s Tunnel in Jerusalem.

Ben is a native Texan and currently lives in Houston with his lovely wife, Rachel Caldwell (who he’s successfully converted into a Star Wars fan). He loves his wife so much, he watched all three High School Musical movies and agreed to appear on this podcast.
