About Angie:

Angie has two passions in life: Dance and Nutrition. She began taking dance lessons at the age of 3 and graduated high school spending more time in her dance studio than her home. Angie has a background in Studio Dance and Drill Team. She was a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette on the 68th Line before graduating with a B.A. in Dance from TWU.

Through her passion for dance, she discovered a significant need for nutrition education and support in the dance industry. She chose to become an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian the summer before starting high school which sparked her interest in nutrition, dietetics, and living a healthier lifestyle. She was required to maintain a healthy weight range for two years while dancing in college and learned that balancing exercise with healthy food choices and portion control worked best for her body. After finishing her Dance degree, Angie studied Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M. She went on to complete a Dietetic Internship through Aramark and passed her CDR exam.

Angie has now combined her love of Dance with Nutrition and Dietetics to provide workshops and customized nutrition education for Dancers and recreational athletes. She enjoys creating interactive, practical nutrition education that will assist her clients in producing achievable lifestyle changes for a better quality of life.
